Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Nirwana Bali Resort is a renowned landmark located on the dramatic southwest coast of Bali in the Tabanan regency. The location consists of five-star Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort, Nirwana Bali Golf Club, and Nirwana Bali Residences. Guests are able to enjoy facilities such as Spa, Restaurants, Retail, Sports and Recreation, Conference Facilities, Kids Activity Center, and Swimming Pools around the resort. Nirwana Bali Resort is the first integrated resort in Indonesia to implement green initiatives, such as the employment of an energy co-generation system, and the treatment & processing of all waste water into recycled water. And the open layout of the 103 hectare integrated resort property is ideal for walking, jogging, or bicycling along the pathways which link throughout the Resort’s mature landscape, rivers, temples, coastline and beach frontage.
Nirwana Bali Golf Club
An outstanding feature of the 18-hole par 72 award-winning Nirwana Bali Golf Club, designed by golf legend Greg Norman, is the presence of rice fields. The rice is planted at different times of the year in various parts of the course so that golfers can enjoy the different stages of rice cultivation. A Wealth of Experience
Great concern has been shown by the developer of Nirwana Bali Resort, from environmental considerations and protection of the area’s natural beauty to the promotion of ecotourism and sociocultural preservation. A substantial area within the Resort’s property has been set aside for the on-going cultivation of rice terraces and paddy fields by the local Balinese villagers. Existing trees on the site have been left virtually untouched. The Resort’s overall layout has been largely designed to accommodate existing trees, and to preserve the natural topography and characteristic of Balinese rice terraces.
